Mothers Strong
Mothers Strong is a group dedicated to bringing vital mental health information to moms and families in the North State area.

Please note that Butte 2-1-1 and Mothers Strong do not provide therapy or counseling. We do not provide a hotline or a warmline for postpartum depression/perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, and cannot provide advice via email.

However, if you feel that you or a loved one may be suffering from pregnancy-related or postpartum depression/anxiety, we strongly encourage you to reach out for help by calling 2-1-1 to find support, counseling and other resources in your community. If you are outside of Butte County you can ask for help by reaching out to Postpartum Support International at 1-800-944-4773. To reach the Spanish helpline individuals can call 1-800-944-4773 and press #1 or text 971-420-0294. or, or by speaking to your healthcare provider.

Getting ready for a new baby and parenting are exciting and important times. Enloe’s Mother & Baby Education Center wants to help you and your family prepare. Their goal is to provide excellent services that promote healthy living for babies and families. A Registered Nurse Educator will facilitate self-care topics including nourishing mind, body and soul, understanding perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, resources in the community and more.
All local therapists listed here have received specialized training in working with women and families who are experiencing maternal depression and anxiety.
